How You Can Help

If you would like to share a tip on helping People with ALS, please write to Janis@Keepthelightalive.org

Designate two hours a week to spend time with a person with ALS. You can help them with chores or simply just spend time.

Get on a monthly schedule to prepare and deliver a meal to a person with ALS and their family.

Donate time to organizations like the ALSA LA and Augie's Quest.

Host an event or offer to help with the organization of an event.

Give up drinking lattes for a week and donate the savings to an organization that helps people with ALS.

Host an online auction with "treasures" you find around the house.

Create videos to post on Whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com.

Create Cyber Rally events to watch the videos on Whatkindofworlddoyouwant.com.

Donate your Facebook status to help create awareness for events.

Participate in events such as the ALSA LA's Walk to D'Feat ALS.

Terry Brooks, Team Captain for the "We Belong Together for Eric Lowen" Team on the Walk to d'Feat ALS has successfully rallied and raised over $10,000 for the ALSA LA.
